MashMinder
Your batches. Not someone's SaaS platform.
Homebrewing batch log. No subscription, no cloud, no account.
Why MashMinder exists
Brewfather and similar apps cost $30+ per year and require cloud accounts. BrewDay is the local-first alternative — the batch log that works in the garage without WiFi and survives server shutdowns because it never had one.
What MashMinder does
- Recipe entry: grain bill, hop schedule, yeast, and batch notes
- Brew-day log with timed steps and freeform notes
- Fermentation log: gravity readings, temperature, observations
- Packaging log and tasting notes
- Search across years of batch history
- Recipe duplication for variants
- Export batches to JSON
- Optional Google Drive backup (free, your own Drive)
Privacy and local storage
BrewDay stores all batch data locally. No account needed. No tracking. Optional Drive sync goes through your own Google Drive only.
Optional Google services
- + Google Drive (optional): backup and restore your brew log via your own Drive account
- + Google Calendar (optional): add fermentation end, bottling, and tasting dates to your calendar
All Google services are optional. MashMinder works completely without them.
Affiliate links disclosure
BrewDay may include contextual links to malt, hops, and yeast from MaltMiller and Brouwland. All affiliate links are clearly labelled.
