Why LegacyNote exists
If you die or are incapacitated, your family cannot access your accounts, devices, or documents, or know your wishes — but you also do not want to hand over live passwords while alive. People need a structured, encrypted in-case-of-emergency record of where things are and who to contact, without ever putting live secrets online.

Privacy and local storage
DigitalWill stores your legacy records in an encrypted database on your device, unlocked by biometrics. By design there is no column for live passwords. Optional Drive sync uploads only an already-encrypted blob. No account, no tracking.

All Google services are optional. LegacyNote works completely without them.
