CombKeeper
Every hive, every inspection — on your own phone.
Offline beekeeping journal: hives, inspections, treatments, harvests.
Why CombKeeper exists
Beekeepers track inspections, treatments, and harvests on paper or in scattered apps that demand an account. HiveLog keeps every hive's history — inspections, varroa treatments, photos, and yields — in one private, offline place.
What CombKeeper does
- Add hives with location, queen status, queen colour, and install date
- Log inspections: temperament, brood pattern, stores, pests, varroa, and weather
- Attach inspection photos from the camera or your gallery
- Track varroa treatments by product, application date, and notes
- Record honey harvests by date and weight, with total yield per hive
- Calendar timeline of all inspections across hives, grouped by month
- Export a full JSON backup or inspections and harvests as CSV
- Optional Google Drive backup (free, your own Drive)
Privacy and local storage
HiveLog stores all hive data locally. No account needed. No tracking. Optional Drive sync goes through your own Google Drive only.
Optional Google services
- + Google Drive (optional): back up and restore your hive records via your own Drive account
All Google services are optional. CombKeeper works completely without them.
Affiliate links disclosure
HiveLog may include clearly-labelled contextual links to beekeeping gear (hive tools, smokers, frames, suits, and books). Links are optional and never shown inside your inspection records.
